The New Girl star included a picture of the sandy-haired pooches, who looked nearly identical as they snoozed side-by-side on their dog bed.

Zooey received a flurry of excited Twitter messages in response to her picture, including fans curious to know what names she had picked out for her fluffy companions.

'For those asking - The dogs are named Zelda and Dot,' she tweeted later in the day.
The actress was clearly enamored by the new additions to her family, even thanking the Bill Foundation via Twitter for facilitating the adoption.
