Girls' night out! Diane Lane horses around with friends as she makes first appearance since filing for divorce from Josh Brolin

She has kept a low profile since filing for divorce from husband of eight years Josh Brolin earlier this month.
But on Wednesday Diane Lane made her return to the spotlight with a much-needed girls’ night out.
After ditching her wedding ring, the actress joined her showbiz pals Laura Dern and Mary Steenburgen at the opening night of Cavalia’s Odysseo.

Some of the horses that appear in the show were lining the red carpet, so Diane wasted no time in getting acquainted with a gorgeous chestnut brown animal.
As she lovingly caressed her new furry friend it was clear for all to see that the Unfaithful star is a huge animal lover.
She was dressed casually for the event, appearing to have been inspired by the equestrian theme.

The 48-year-old sported a black T-shirt under a navy waistcoat, along with jeans tucked into black riding boots.
Wild At Heart star Laura and The Proposal actress Mary Steenburgen also dressed down in trousers, boots and jackets.

Alessandra Ambrosio was also in attendance with her adorable four-year-old daughter Anja in tow, who looked like a mini model in the making as she posed for the camera.
The Victoria’s Secret Angel stuck to a neutral colour palette, wearing a cream cardigan over a white tank top, along with beige skinny jeans and taupe peep toe pumps.
Diane signed her divorce papers on Valentine’s Day and filed them the following day on February 15.
'Diane Lane and Josh Brolin have decided to end their marriage,' a spokesman for the couple told Us Weekly last week.
